Feinkost Käfer aus München steht für hochwertiges und nachhaltiges Catering. Für das G7 International Media Center (IMC) war es dem Auftraggeber und Käfer wichtig, einen grünen Gedanken zu leben. Dieser grüne Gedanke zieht sich durch die hauptsächlich vegan-vegetarische Speisenauswahl, die Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Lieferanten und den Einsatz rein saisonaler Produkte. Der Fokus liegt weiterhin auf einer Minimierung des Food Waste durch just in time Produktion vor Ort und absolute Frische. Alle nicht vermeidbaren Emissionen werden nach der Veranstaltung in einem lokalen Projekt kompensiert.

Feinkost Käfer from Munich stands for high quality and sustainable catering. One of the main goals when planning the G7  International Media Center (IMC) was to realize an eco-friendly concept. Part of this eco-friendly concept are the mainly vegan and vegetarian food selection, the collaboration with local suppliers and the use of products in season. Additionally we aim to minimize the food waste through just in time production on-site and absolute product freshness. All non-avoidable emissions will be compensated after the event in a local project.

Seit jeher arbeiten wir (Käfer) mit unseren ausgewählten Lieferanten eng und vertrauensvoll zusammen. Regionalität, Saisonalität und Nachhaltigkeit hatten für uns schon einen Stellenwert lange bevor es Bio gab. Unser Ziel ist es das Catering des G7 Gipfels so CO2 optimiert wie möglich umzusetzen.

We (Käfer) have always enjoyed a close and trustworthy relationship with our selected suppliers. Regional produce, seasonality and sustainability were important to us long before the organic trend took off. We aim to make the catering at the G7 Summit as carbon-neutral as possible.
