On the second day of the summit the G7 heads of state and government focused primarily on the war in Ukraine. Federal Chancellor Scholz stressed that the war will leave its mark on international relations for some time to come. The Federal Chancellor also welcomed the heads of state and government of the five G7 partner countries as well as representatives of international organisations.
